MHIAA Rated Best Split System Air Conditioner Brand in 2021 Finder Awards
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty. Ltd. (MHIAA), is excited to announce that they have been named by Finder as the Best Rated Split System Air Conditioner Brand in their latest 2021 Finder Retail Awards.

The 2020/21 Finder Customer satisfaction Awards – particularly their subcategory of Retail Awards, recognises Australia’s best brands as voted by Australians. Working with leading data, insights and consulting company, Kantar Finder surveyed over 3,000 Australians who had recently purchased products across 150 categories, asking them to rate how satisfied they were with their purchase.
Respondents were asked to give an Overall Satisfaction Score for the product (between 0 and 5 stars) and a rating on whether the respondent would recommend the product to their friends. Respondents were also asked to provide a rating between 0 and 5 stars on sentiment pillars including durability, performance, design or value for money. A weighting was applied to each score, with 50% of the final score comprising the overall satisfaction rating score, and 50% split between all other attributes.
Within the Split System Category, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries outperformed other air conditioning brands with top scores across the board. Consumers rated Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners in terms of quietness, performance, features and functions and value for money. Australian consumers highlighted that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners achieved the highest rating in every single category, achieving a total score of 8.6 and taking out the 2020/21 Retail Award!
Consumers rated Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners highly in categories including heating and cooling performance with an average score of 4.8 out of 5 and for quietness and features and functions Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners were rated at 4.87 out of 5.
