Capping off an incredible 20th anniversary year, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty. Ltd. (MHIAA) is pleased to announce that they have once again been recognised as the Best Brand of Air Conditioners by leading consumer advocacy group CHOICE®. The Best Brand of Air-Conditioners recognition is based on test reviews of over 140 split system air conditioners and the results of the annual reliability and satisfaction survey completed by 7,738 CHOICE® members. According to CHOICE®, the Best Brand recommendation is given to companies with a clear lead over their competitors during the test period. Factors include performance over the last 12 months, customer satisfaction and reliability information submitted by CHOICE® members on their experience with the brand. Last week, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) was proud to host the Annual Kirby National Training and Development meeting in Innovation Park, our new training facility at Regents Park. Designed to raise awareness of MHIAA’s wide range of product offerings and product training opportunities, MHIAA was able to use this day to demonstrate not only our support of Kirby but to also utilise this as an opportunity to provide more information of MHI as a brand, our rich history, products and solutions and strengthen our ongoing business relationship with the trusted national wholesaler. MHIAA Appoints Scott Hester as State Manager for VIC, SA and TAS.

Further cementing its place as an organisation dedicated to the growth and development of its staff, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, PTY. LTD. (MHIAA), is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Hester as State Manager for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. As a long-standing member in the HVAC Industry, Scott brings over 14 years’ experience to this new role, 9 of which have been dedicated to various roles within MHIAA. MHIAA Partners with Superior Training Centre to Deliver Australian first industry training

On June 7 2019, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty.Ltd. (MHIAA) were proud to partner with Superior Training Centre to deliver the first formal training on the safety and handling of A2/A2L flammable refrigerants in Australia. The full day course took place at Innovation Park – MHIAA’s brand new showroom and training facility located at their new Sydney Head Office. Although R32 refrigerants have been available Australia wide for several years, Superior Training Centre representative and Quality Assurance Manager Ben Peters notes, that to date there has been no formal training in this refrigerant and there was a necessity to address this critical skill gap in the industry. “At Superior Training Centre we recognised that there was a skills shortage and training shortage on the ways to properly handle R32 refrigerants.
