What is the difference between Single and Multi Split systems and which do I buy?
A Single Split system air conditioner consists of one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit and can only effectively heat or cool one room. A Multi Split system can connect multiple indoor units to one outdoor unit and can be used to heat or cool multiple rooms. Do I need a Ducted System in my house?
Depending on how many rooms you wish to heat or cool, and the size of your house, ducted air conditioners can be a more economical option over split systems. Single or Multi Split Systems are typically used in apartments due to the space limitations. Apartments tend to have smaller living spaces and limited outdoor space. This means that they need smaller capacity units to deliver the desired room temperature. Contact your local dealer find out what type or AC will work best for your apartment.
What is the difference between Ceiling Concealed and Ducted systems?
A Ceiling Concealed system has very little static and little to no duct. They are designed to heat or cool one room. Ducted Systems have higher static pressure and allow ducting to be connected. They are designed to heat or cool your whole house.
I live in an area prone to high humidity. Will the air conditioner help to dehumidify the room?
Yes! In both dry and cooling mode, the processes within the air conditioner will help remove the humidity from your room.
What size air conditioner do I typically need to meet the cooling and heating needs for my home?
