Mitsubishi KXZW Water Cooled Site Visit, Kuala Lumpur
With Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia set to release the KXZW series of water cooled VRF systems to Australia later this year, we took the opportunity to introduce some existing and potential customers to the new system by taking them to visit an installation site in Kualua Lumpur, Malaysia.
The 5 star, New World Hotel, in Petaling Jaya, Kualua Lumpur boasts over 300 modern rooms, including 30 suites, state-of-the-art business centre, large up-marketing restaurant as well as a stunning rooftop pool and bar and is cooled by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries KXZW water cooled series, with over 450 indoor units (a mixture of FDT ceiling cassettes, FDUM ducted sytems and FDU ducted systems) installed on the premises.
Led by representatives from IMZ, trusted distributors of MHI products within Malaysia, MHIAA staff and their customers were taken on a full tour of the hotel and were allowed to inspect the entire VRF system within the newly developed building. This allowed all attendees to get a better understanding of the product’s huge number of features and benefits and how it could be used within Australia.
The KXZW series of water cooled VRF systems offers an efficient solution for a range of commercial applications, specifically, large scale buildings. The systemās design allows the condenser to be installed within the building, which allows for greater flexibility and depending on system capacity, up to 33 indoor units can be connected to a single condensing unit with individualized and/or centralized control.
The KXZW series of water cooled VRF systems is set for release within Australia in Q4 2018.
